Lindsay often works alongside individuals who have experienced and/or witnessed intimate partner violence, sexual assault, childhood abuse, experienced attachment related concerns throughout varying stages of life, are struggling with life transitions, and may have diagnostic histories of Dissociative Disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder/C-PTSD, Depression and Anxiety Disorders.
She considers a Person-Centered, Humanistic approach a foundational requirement to walking alongside you in your therapy pilgrimage. In addition, she pulls from modalities including Mindfulness, parts work approaches, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic Resourcing, Brainspotting, Psychodynamics, Narrative Therapy, and Existential Therapy to provide effective and meaningful clinical support to healing.
Alongside being a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Lindsay completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Towson University and holds a Master of Arts in forensic psychology with a counseling track from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Lindsay has extensive training in trauma informed care approaches and has obtained an Advanced Trauma Treatment Certification through The Ferentz Institute.
As an avid reader, writer, musician, comic book drawer and out-of-the-lines mandala color-er herself, Lindsay often utilizes expressive and creative forms of therapy and guided imagery in addition to cognitive forms of therapy to help you recover, heal, and grow in a way that is authentic to you.
